Mark graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Landscape Architecture. After graduation, Mark worked for several landscape companies in Metro Atlanta, but he could never find an opportunity that blended his creative nature and design background with his desire to be outdoors and working with his hands.

Down South Design was founded in 2011 as the opportunity to blend Mark’s creativity with his work ethic to create beautiful landscapes for customers.
